The State Employees’ Awards for Excellence Program offers us the opportunity to
recognize those high-performing state employees whose contributions make a
difference in the lives of North Carolinians. Governor Easley and I want
to reiterate our commitment to this vital and worthy initiative and ask for your
continued support of the State Employees’ Awards for Excellence Program.
It is my pleasure to announce that the 2008 State Employees’ Awards for
Excellence Program is open for nominations. The 2008 nomination form is
available on our website at
http://www.osp.state.nc.us/recognize/nomform.doc. The deadline for
nominations is July 15, 2008.
I am also pleased to announce that the State Employees’ Credit Union has pledged
their ongoing support for the State Employees’ Awards for Excellence Program.
Funding from SECU will allow us to continue to publicly recognize our deserving
recipients in a ceremony with their family, friends and coworkers.
On behalf of all state employees, thank you for your support of the State
Employees’ Awards for Excellence Program. The Office of State Personnel
looks forward to working with you to ensure the continued success of this
important initiative.
