for Wednesday, March 19, 2008
from Angela Revels-Bullard, Office of Human Resources
Ms. Reeshemah Johnson of the Continuing Education department has been approved
to receive donations under the voluntary shared leave program. The intent
of the program is to provide leave earning employees an opportunity to assist
others during a prolonged illness.
Ms. Johnson has exhausted all of her available leave and requests to participate
in this program.
As stated in the policy, non-family members may donate vacation or bonus leave
only. If you wish to assist her, forward your leave form or via e-mail to
Ms. Wilma Thorpe, wthorpe@uncfsu.edu,
indicating the number of hours you wish to donate. You may visit Ms.
Thorpe in Smith Hall, room 215, no later than Wednesday, April 2, 2008, to
provide the necessary form. The minimum allowable donation is four (4)
hours and the maximum amount of vacation leave donated can be no more than the
annual amount accumulated by the donating employee, provided such donation does
not reduce the donating employee’s leave balance below half of the amount
accrued annually. (Please refer to the link below for specific policy
