Right after the magnitude 7.9
earthquake in China, we built a webpage to mourn the victims, express our
concerns and care to the Chinese faculty and students within FSU family, and
provide channels to help. We update the data everyday.

The FSU family would like to
extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Lulu Knibbs, mother of Lester
Knibbs in the
Department of Performing and Fine Arts.
There will be a viewing tomorrow (Thursday) from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the
Powell Funeral Home, 160 East New Hampshire Avenue, Southern Pines. The
phone number is 910-692-6161.
A brief interment ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Pinelawn Cemetery, 2088
Morganton Road, Southern Pines. No
funeral service will be held. A memorial service will be held sometime in the
near future.
