Severino A. Trevino, age 77
He passed away at his home with his family at his side.
Born: Wednesday, January 8,1930 / Died: Sunday, August 12,
2007
Services: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Thursday, August 16,
2007 at 12.30 p.m.
Officiated: Father Willard Rucinski.
Cemetery laid to rest: Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Spring Lake, NC.
Burial with Full Military Honors.
Was a staff member of the Fayetteville State University Management Information
Systems (MIS), employed at FSU from October 1972 to January 31, 1995 (22 years).
His position was Telecommunication Equipment Technician.
He was also retired from the as Army Sgt. 1st Class and was a veteran of the
Korean and Vietnam wars.
Military service for 24 years.
Survived by: Wife Renate; Son, Andrew; and sisters Rosian Verna, Guadalupe
Garcia, Mary Spivey, Nirma Vitek, Vivian Alejo, Mary Tapia And Rosita Hernandez.
His is also honored at the Airborne & Special Operations Museum, Fayetteville,
NC, with a 24 x 24 paver; in memory of his service to the military.
