The FSU family would like to extend
our deepest sympathy to the family of Debra Brown in the Department of Social
Work. She lost her father on Saturday. Funeral arrangements are incomplete
at this time. More information will be forthcoming as it becomes
available.

For his learnedness and achievements, Dr. Chris Sliwa, associate professor in
the Department of English and Foreign Languages, was appointed as Vice
Chancellor of the World Academy of Letters by the World Academy of Letters,
signed by Chancellor J.M. Evans.

An informational meeting for those interested in volunteering with the FSU
"Bronco" Lunch Buddy Program has been scheduled. The meeting will be
tomorrow (Tues., November 13) in the Chancellor's Dining Room (Jones Student
Center) from 12-1 p.m. This program is open to all faculty, staff, and
students. If you are a volunteer or would like to become a volunteer,
please attend this meeting.
**Participating schools: Reid Ross Classical School, E.E. Smith High School,
Westover High School, Westover Middle School, Anne Chestnutt Middle School and
Pauline Jones Elementary School.**
