Arena at 6:00 p.m. today in their first conference match of the season.

Senate
The Faculty Senate at Fayetteville State University convened on August 30th for
its first meeting of the year. The following officers were elected: for
two-year terms, chair, John Mattox; vice-chair, Blanche Radford-Curry; and for a
one-year term, parliamentarian, Jonathan Breitzer. Diane White-Oyler
continues for the coming year as the secretary of the Senate.
The Senate also selected two members to serve on the Search Committee to hire a
new chancellor: John Mattox, senate chair, and senator Clara Jones.

The location has changed for the volleyball match between Johnson C. Smith
University and Fayetteville State University scheduled for September 10, 2007 at
Capel Arena. It will be played at Johnson C. Smith University in
