Praxis I & II Workshop

Prepare for the PRAXIS I & PRAXIS II test by learning strategies for successful test-taking, writing essays, lesson plans, and other areas that are essential for this test.

Registration Deadline: November 8, 2007

The workshop is FREE for both FAYETTEVILLE STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS and PENC MEMBERS.

Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute

Hello Everyone:

I am happy to inform you that the Center for Entrepreneurship at FSU is in the process of identifying fifty students from FSU campus who will be considered for the “Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute.” All FSU students who meet the minimum criteria are eligible for this outstanding opportunity. Students can nominate themselves or be nominated by any member of the faculty, staff, or administrators.

The selected students will receive special entrepreneurial and leadership training and will be considered for paid internships and job offers. The selected students will also travel to meet with senior corporate, government, business, military, political, and other leaders, participate in business ventures, and play leadership roles in national conferences. The students will also be considered for a number of scholarships.

Who will be able to apply or nominated:

All students with GPA of 3.3 and higher are eligible to apply or be nominated. Students from any major are welcome.

Application Must Include:
1. One page Resume
2. One recommendation letter from your professor

Criteria for Selection:
1. Group Interview
2. Individual Interview

All nominations must be received by September 25, 2007.  Please send your nominations to mbhuiyan@uncfsu.edu.
 


Internship Week ~ September 17-21, 2007

The Career Services Center has designated September 17-21, 2007 as Internship Week.  During this week, Career Services will host information sessions to assist students who are seeking relevant work experience to connect with employers who are looking to fill internship positions.  Students will have the opportunity to participate in on-campus interviews for certain internship positions.  If you have additional questions please contact the Career Services Center at 672-1205.
