The Bronco Men and Bronco Women of Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville ,
NC attended the “HIP HOP SUMMIT ACTION WORKSHOP.” The summit was hosted by
North Carolina A&T State University, Greensboro, NC on Saturday September 8,
2007. The summit featured Mr. Russell Simmons and a variety of Hip Hop
artist such as Anthony Hamilton, Remy Ma, Belly, Rosci & Terrance host from 106
Park on BET, Keith Murray, and Free. Valuable information on a variety of
topics included: Building Credit and Repairing Bad Credit; Managing Credit,
Building Wealth, Credit, Basics of Banking and Asset Management; Home Ownership;
Auto Financing; and Entrepreneurship. In addition, artist and leaders from
the hip-hop community offered encouragement and shared their Perspectives on
achieving financial empowerment.
As the largest nonprofit, national coalition of hip-hop artist, recording
industry executives and community leaders, the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network (HSAN)
continues to be at the forefront of defending the First Amendment Rights of
artist as well as championing the issues of social justice toward the
elimination of poverty and ignorance.
Each participant received a free copy of “Get Your Money Right,” a financial
workbook which was in both Spanish and English also available at
www.hsan.org.
The summit was made possible through the generous support of the Title Sponsor

Fayetteville State vs. Bowie State -- Game Day Information
When: Saturday, Sept. 22nd
Kickoff: 6:00 p.m.
Where: Luther "Nick" Jeralds Stadium -- Fayetteville, NC
Tickets/Gates Open:
Tickets are still available for the game and can be ordered Monday through
Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., by calling the FSU ticket office at (910) 672-1724.
Tickets can also be purchased online at
www.etix.com/ticket/online or in
person the day of the game. The ticket offices/Will Call and gates open
two hours prior to kick off. The ticket booth will open at 4:00 p.m.
Gates will open at 5:00 p.m.
Tailgate Policy:
Tailgaters will be charged $10.00 per parking space (ex. Car + Cooker = $20.00).
All tailgating activities will be held in Parking Lot H (between Williams Hall
and Lilly Gymnasium). All RV tailgating activities will be held in Parking
Lot F (School of Business and Economics). Any violations of this policy
may result in termination of tailgate privileges and criminal prosecution and/or
action taken through the FSU Office of Public Safety, the FSU Dean of Students
or the Fayetteville Police Department. For more information concerning
