City of Fayetteville Fire Station #14 at FSU

Fayetteville Fire Station 14 at FSU is designed with classrooms and dormitory style rooms to support programs developed though a partnership between the City of Fayetteville, FSU, FTCC and E. E. Smith High School.

Congratulations:

Graduate, Amy Procopio, was promoted to the rank of Battalion Chief for Jacksonville Fire & Emergency Services. She is the first-ever female BC for the department and highest ranking female officer to rise through the ranks with the agency.

Battalion Chief Frank Hobson has assumed the responsibilities of the Safety Officer for the Raleigh Fire Department. The move for Chief Hobson has placed him in a day duty position on the Chief's Command Staff. According to RFD Chief, John T. McGrath, Hobson is responsible "for providing a culture of safety which optimizes our members ability to return safely home to their families."

Graduate, Chris Anderson, was named the winner of the 2013-2014 Dr. Booker Juma Fire Service Leadership Award presented at the CAS annual awards ceremony on April 15, 2014. He has graduated from the National Defense University's Special Warfare Centers and Schools' Masters of Arts program with a degree in Strategic Security Studies.

Graduate, Jason Parker, was recently promoted to Engineer with the Shelby (NC) Fire and Rescue Department.

Graduate, Dan Manley, received his Fire Officer Designation from the Center for Public Safety Excellence and the Emergency Services Excellence Award from the group Warrior Jam. He also has been promoted to Captain with Ft. Bragg Fire & Emergency Services.

Graduate, James Frowein has been promoted to Engineer with the Kannapolis Fire Department.

Graduate, Chris Smith was promoted to the rank of Captain with the Raleigh Fire Department.

Brian Mitchell was promoted to the rank of Captain with the Statesville Fire Department.

Graduate, Brian Amerson was promoted to Division Chief of Operations with the Wendell Fire Department.

Graduate, Blake Boyd has received his Fire Officer designation through the Center for Public Safety Excellence.
