Admissions Process

To Be considered for admission to the Fayetteville State University Fire and Emergency Services Administration (FESA) Program, interested students must complete the FSU Online Application provided below.  One major reason for a delay in processing is often due to the fact that official transcripts are not requested from ALL colleges and universities previously attended.  Only original, sealed transcripts are acceptable and they should be mailed directly to the Office of Admissions at the time of your application.

Additional certification transcripts from the NC Office of the State Fire Marshal (NCOSFM), NC Office of Emergency Medical Services (NCOEMS), and the National Fire Academy (NFA) may be requested by the Program Director but not until after an unofficial evaluation is completed and/or requested by the Director.  Please do not send any certifications with your application for admission.

Once your application is received with all transcripts and is evaluated, you will be notified of an admission decision and your eligibility for the program.  It is important to note application deadlines as stated on Admission's website.  The University accepts applications on a rolling basis and students may begin in the fall, spring or summer terms based on admittance to the University. Students interested in financial aid must also meet any deadlines set by the Office of Financial Aid.  Please see the website for additional information regarding completion of the FASFA and other opportunities.
