The history program at Fayetteville State is housed in the Department of Government and History.  The program offers a Bachelor of Arts degree as well as a minor in history.  For more information on the undergraduate program contact the coordinator Dr. Thomas Hennessey, thennessey@uncfsu.edu

A Bachelor of Science in Social Studies, History concentration is offered through the history program. For more information contact the coordinator Dr. Stanley Johnson, sjohnson@uncfsu.edu

*** Notice: beginning Summer 2005 New students will not be admitted to the M.A. program until further notice.

***The history program also offers a Master of Arts degree in History and a Masters in Education with a concentration in History.  For more information on the graduate program at FSU contact the coordinator Dr. Claude Hargrove, chargrove@uncfsu.edu

 

Spring 08 Field Trip:  Members of the History club and faculty advisors attended the Carolina Low Country and the Atlantic World (CLAW) annual conference sponsored by the College of Charleston in Charleston SC. This years theme is in recognition to the  International Slave Trade A Bicentenary Inquiry
