| The Director |
Emily M. Dickens, Director of Government and Community Affairs serves as a University liaison with state and federal governments and agencies. Ms. Dickens also works with neighbors, agencies, organizations, elected officials and municipal government offices to build strong partnerships between Fayetteville State University and its various constituents.

Advocate for programs which promote Fayetteville State University as a resource and promote student, faculty, and staff involvement in community initiatives that benefit the community, the region, and the state.
| Our Goal |
Develop and strengthen relationships between FSU, Cumberland County, the Southeastern region of NC, and education constituencies throughout the United States and garnering support for the campus' legislative agenda at the local, state and federal level.
