Sponsorships

The University is a strong supporter of area programs and activities.  In 2009 the University will focus its sponsorships on cultural and community activities in Fayetteville, Cumberland County and the surrounding region.

If you would like the University to purchase a sponsorship, advertisement, and/or tables for your event, please submit the request to the attention of the Director of Community and Government Affairs in the Office of the Chancellor and/or send an email to edickens@uncfsu.edu.  Include as much information about your event as possible.

Business Community

FPBL DinnerFayetteville State University is an active member of the Fayetteville/Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce and holds membership in several other chambers in southeastern North Carolina.

The Director of Community and Government Affairs currently serves as a board member of the Fayetteville/Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce, member of the Cumberland County Workforce Development Board, member of the Fayetteville Business and Professional League, member of the Cumberland Community Action Program, Inc. Board, and the Partnership for Defense Innovation Board.

 

Bronco Square

Located across the street from campus, Bronco Square is a retail plaza co-owned by the FSU Development Corporation, a university affiliated entity.  With over twenty retail establishments, Bronco Square is home to the FSU Bookstore, restaurants, a barber shop, and the FSU Center for Community Justice. 

Fayetteville Business Center

Located at 2520 Murchison Road, the FBC is classified as an incubator and was designed to nurture small start-up ventures by providing office and/or manufacturing space and consulting support via students and faculty of FSU’s School of Business and Economics.  The incubator was opened in the fall of 2001 and currently operates at peak capacity. The Director of the FBC is Mr. Floyd Shorter.
