Emily M. Dickens, Director of Community and Government Affairs serves as a University liaison with state and federal governments and agencies. Ms. Dickens also works with neighbors, agencies, organizations, elected officials and municipal government offices to build strong partnerships between Fayetteville State University and its various constituents.

  • Advocate for programs which promote students, faculty, and staff at Fayetteville State University as a resource to the neighboring community and the region
  • Promote student, faculty, and staff involvement in community initiatives that benefit the neighboring community, the region, and the state
