Election related activities approval process

.

The following process must be followed in order to have an election related activity approved on campus:

At least 7 days prior to the event, email a summary of the activity to edickens@uncfsu.edu.  For student activities, the campus advisor must be copied on this email.  The body of the email should include the name of the requestor, an email address, and phone number for that person.   In addition, it should include a summary of the activity: Purpose of the event, internal and external partners.

If the event is approved, it will be posted on the campus election information web page under approved activities. This will provide faculty, staff, students and visitors a listing to review if questions arise.

If you have any questions,  visit the election web page first, and then send me an email to edickens@uncfsu.edu.  No calls please.

Today, we face similar challenges of disparities in education, healthcare and economic empowerment. Thus, the FSU Student Government Association will sponsor a night with Bobby Seale, a young activist icon of the 1960’s.  Mr. Seale will use the historical moment of the 1960’s to enlighten students about the impact we can have to make a better world.  http://www.bobbyseale.com/
