Our Mission:
The mission of The Graduate School is to coordinate the activities of the University's post-baccalaureate degree programs and to ensure that all post-baccalaureate degree and non-degree programs offered in the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business and Economics, and the School of Education are of the highest quality. We are committed to excellence in teaching, research, and service and to preparing our graduates to lead meaningful and productive lives as agents of change in shaping the future of America and the world.
Academic Programs:
The Graduate School offers one doctoral degree (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and seven master degrees with concentrations and specializations in many academic areas: 1) Master of School Administration; 2) Master of Arts; 3) Master of Arts in Teaching; 4) Master of Education; 5) Master of Business Administration; 6) Master of Science; and 7) Master of Social Work (MSW). Concentrations and specializations are offered in areas such as education, sociology, psychology, biology, mathematics, and criminal justice. All graduate programs at Fayetteville State University are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), and many hold specialized accreditation within their academic disciplines.
