Mr. Samuel HangerMr. Samuel A. Hanger, is Lecturer in the Department of Health, Physical Education and Human Services.  He received his M. Ed. in Secondary Administration from the University of Massachusetts, and his B.A. from SUNY Binghamton, with a double major, in History and Black Literature.

He has coached and taught on the collegiate level at the following schools:  FSU; Winston-Salem State University; Greensboro College; Amherst College; American International College; University of Massachusetts; and St. John’s University.  In addition to coaching and teaching, he has served in various athletic administration positions.  These include: Interim co-Athletic Director; Associate Athletic Director; Compliance Coordinator; and Sports Information Director.  Twice, he has been named to the NCAA Regional Advisory Committee.  Lastly, he is a graduate of the inaugural NCAA Leadership Institute.
