Dr. Gloria ElliottDr. Gloria Elliott, Assistant Professor and Interim Chairperson of Health and Physical Education. Gloria Elliott taught in the public schools of North Carolina, at North Carolina A & T State University, Methodist University, and St. Andrews Presbyterian College.  She began her FSU career as a faculty member in 1999. She left for a brief time and returned in 2003.  She currently serves as an assistant professor and interim chairperson in the Department of Health, Physical Education and Human Services.

Her research interests include international student teaching, adapted physical education, and accreditation.

Education

Dr. Elliott earned the B.S. degree from Fayetteville State University (1977), the M.A. (1978) from The University of Connecticut and Ph.D. from The Ohio State University (1997).  Her fields of study were health education, physical education, and adapted physical education respectively.
