BACKGROUND CHECKS: As of July 1, 2007, Fayetteville State University shall conduct
background checks for an applicant who is selected as the final
candidate for all SPA, EPA non-faculty, and EPA faculty full-time
and part-time positions, prior to the final candidate’s employment
date. An employment
background check includes a criminal background check, employment
verification, reference checks, license verification (if
applicable), verification of academic credentials, and credit
history check (if applicable).
