Mission

The Office of Development is responsible for engaging constituencies, both internal and external, in meaningful and enduring relationships that will enhance the University’s ability to achieve its mission. Developing meaningful partnerships with our alumni, friends, parents, students, and community members is essential in receiving private support of University priorities.

FSU receives only 48% of its total annual operating budget from state appropriations.  In order to provide a high-quality education to our students we must fill the gap with investments from private donors.  As a donor to FSU, you make a significant impact on the future of our institution and the thousands of students we serve day-to-day.
