Daisy Spears Stroud Scholarship

Daisy Spears Stroud graduated from Fayetteville State in 1941 with a Bachelors in Primary Education. After dedicating her career to teaching, she retired after thirty years.  "I remembered that Fayetteville was to me the right size for someone to be there and especially someone who would like to have the experience of not being too big or too small. You got an opportunity to know all the students and it was more like a family to me,” Stroud said.

The Daisy Spears Stroud Scholarship is awarded to Elementary Education majors.
