Ethel Burney-Baker Endowed Scholarship

Mr. Frederick Cole, in memory of his grandmother, Mrs. Ethel Burney Baker who honored her country with more than 20 years of service at Fort Bragg Army Base.  She was a gentle lady who would not hesitate to help family, friends, and relatives as well as a dedicated other to five sons and a daughter.

The Ethel Burney Baker Endowed Scholarship is awarded to descendants of Mrs. Baker or a graduate of E.E. Smith Senior High School in Fayetteville, NC.
