Fayetteville State University is grateful to the many sponsors (individuals, organizations, businesses and corporations) that make our special events possible. The opportunity to sponsor an FSU event has many advantages to you and your company or organization. They include:

  • Assisting FSU with events that bring support to our students and facult
  • Inclusion in advertising throughout the region for the event sponsored
  • Charitable tax deductions
  • The ability to associate your name or company’s name with the successful programs and opportunities going on at the university
  • Tickets/tables for the event and special recognition at and after the event

    WFSS, a 100,000 watt public radio station is licensed to the Board of Trustees of Fayetteville State University. WFSS, located on the campus of Fayetteville State University, is a local presence covering 14 counties. Through the internet, WFSS is able to broadcast worldwide, allowing listeners wherever they are to keep in touch with their favorite programs.

Donations make up more than 63% of the WFSS income, with the majority of its budget coming directly from listeners who contribute support as members. For more information you may call WFSS at 672-2043 or log on at www.wfss.org.

Planned Events...

Some of the events planned for 2008-2009 that offer opportunities for sponsorship include:

FSU Athletic Department Signage available throughout Nick Jerald’s Stadium for your company. Football stadium seats 6,200 and Capel Arena seats 4,800.

FSU’s Homecoming Weekend –  Proceeds benefit student scholarships
