Mission Statement:
The primary goal
of the Office of Title III, Institutional Effectiveness, and
Assessment, which is comprised of the University Testing Center and
Institutional Research, is to provide data and analysis to the
Fayetteville State University family to enable ongoing assessment of
the university and its programs for the purpose of measuring the
university’s efficiency, effectiveness, program quality, and
determining the university’s achievement of its mission.
The purpose of
Institutional Research
is to provide
administrative and technical support for planning and management
activities directed toward the fulfillment of the mission of FSU.
IR assumes primary responsibility for data collection about the performance of FSU that measures quantitatively and qualitatively
how well FSU is accomplishing its goals.
- To provide timely and accurate actionable intelligence to
inform decision making and enhance the academic quality of the
institution.
To facilitate institutional effectiveness through the
identification, assessment, and improvement of expected outcomes
for all educational programs and administrative and educational
support services.
To serve as a repository of historical data about FSU.
