Campus Recreation and Intramural Sports are a series of structured activities that are played throughout the academic year by Fayetteville State University students, faculty and staff. Hundreds of students participate in team sports including basketball, flag football, soccer, softball and volleyball.
Competitive Sports Mission Statement
The mission of Competitive Sports is to provide competitive, recreational and instructional opportunities for the Fayetteville State community. We are committed to the development of successful and quality teams and individuals with a focus on enhancing the collegiate experience through leadership development, teamwork, sportsmanship, diversity, responsible and ethical conduct, healthy active lifestyles and fun.
