A Voluntary System of Accountability

Who we are and What we do

The Office of Institutional Research (IR) at Fayetteville State University works deliberately to provide, as well as facilitate, the institution wide use of data and analytics. We are partners with other University units in the production of data and information to reinforce decisions at all levels. The Office communicates the findings for reporting and accountability purposes to our students, faculty and staff as well as to various university stakeholders, the UNC System and the US Department of Education. The processes we engage and the deliverables produced are foundational to the paradigm of institutional research as a change agent advocating data-informed decisions for institutional improvement.
