ITTS logo

The deadline for submitting new requests for software for the

 Spring 2008 semester

is Monday, Dec 31st, 2007.

All software, documentation, installation, and configuration instructions must be delivered to ITTS by that date.

This memo is designed to give you some information about how you may request software to be made available in the ITTS open-access computer labs and classrooms. The campus standard installation will be:

  • Windows XP Professional (SP2) with Office 2003 Pro (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and FrontPage)
  • Publisher 2003
  • Mathematica 5.2
  • SSH Client
  • SAS 9.1.3
  • JMP 7
  • Acrobat Reader 8
  • Windows Media Player 8
  • Roxio EZ CD-Creator
  • MyMathLab plug-ins
  • Citrix Client and all basic network applications (i.e. Symantec Anti-virus, PPopup, Aclient, etc.)

Click here for details on supported software.

The process of upgrading campus software begins during the preceding semester. Although we understand it is often difficult to plan ahead, the lengthy process that is involved in configuring the computers in the labs in a complex network environment makes early notice vital. This is why it is extremely important that you assess your software needs now.
