Student Web Assistant
Description:

The Student Web Assistant will assist the ITTS Web Development Team in various facets of website design, video streaming, recording and similar projects for the university.

Specific duties include:
  • Building websites.
  • Create simple web forms.
  • Create Adobe PDF documents.
  • Digital photography.
  • Creating and optimizing images using Adobe Photoshop.
  • Video record/edit campus events, student projects, student(s) of the month, faculty of the month.
  • Publish and stream digital video on website.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Positive customer service attitude and skills.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to interact well and work cooperatively with campus community, including but not limited to students, faculty and staff.
  • Must have a willingness to learn.
  • Must show initiative and responsibility.
  • Punctuality and reliability in attendance.
  • Must be knowledgeable or proficient in use and support of various Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite and other office automation software and tools.
  • The independency of work will depend on the student level, knowledge and skill set.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, MS FrontPage, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Professional and MS Office.
  • Experience with digital photography/video recording.
  • Experience with digital video editing software, such as Adobe Premier or similar a plus.
