Website Request

1. New department/unit/program website

Unit head submits request to ITTS Web Services with the following information:

1. Official name of department/unit/program
2. Preferred URL
3. List of users who should have access to edit
4. Content structure
5. Content for index page

All department/unit/program websites reside in the university’s content management system and are required to use the university template. Each user must attend training before being granted access to edit.

2. New faculty website

Faculty member submits request to ITTS Web Services with the following information:

1. Full name and FSU network account username

All faculty websites are edited with Expressions Web (available in Citrix).
URL of individual faculty websites is faculty.uncfsu.edu/username/.
Training provided by Office of Faculty Development if needed.
Optional: host website off site. ITTS support will only include listing of site on faculty.uncfsu.edu if requested.

3. New student course site

Faculty member submits request to ITTS Web Services with the following information:

1. Course ID and section number
2. Banner IDs of all enrolled students
3. Need for ASP or ASP.NET?

All student course websites are edited with Expressions Web.
URL of individual student course websites is stuweb2.uncfsu.edu/semester-year/username/.
Training provided by teaching faculty.

4. New student organization website

Faculty advisor submits request to Dean of Student. Form includes the following information:

1. Official name of student organization
2. Preferred URL
3. List of users who should have access to edit

All student organization websites are edited with Expressions Web.
URL of individual organizations websites is organizations.uncfsu.edu/ organization-name/.
Training not provided.
Optional: host website off site.
Direct requests for inclusion of site on www.uncfsu.edu/studentclubs/ to Office of Student Activities.
