Training Kits:
Free
Training kits are available to all faculty wishing to teach SAS.
A complete list of all kits can be found at

If you are interested in obtaining any of the kits
please complete the
Memorandum of Understanding. The completed Memorandum should be
sent to
Alfred Mays at the UNC Office of the President and Kelly
Fichman at ITTS. Once you have submitted your Memorandum please
email the training unit at SAS to let them know that you are
eligible to receive your kit. You will be contacted by a consultant
who will ask for a list of the SAS courses that you want Trainers
Kits for. PLEASE NOTE: they do not send all of the courses but ask
that you list the courses that you want. They will then be happy to
put the materials together and send them out to you in a CD. The

Scholars Digital
Library of Analytics
The Scholars Digital Library of Analytics is an evolving digital
repository of information sponsored by SAS as part of a SAS/NC State
Collaboration. This library is designed to provide quality
scholarship and educational resources to a diverse audience of
educators, students, researchers, academic chairs, consultants,
innovators, pioneers and industry experts who employ and use
statistical applications and analytics in the course of their
teaching and research. In addition, this library hosts data sets,
collaborative sessions, computer code, and stored procedures used in
conjunction with leveraging software and solutions to invoke
communication amongst the research and education community.
SAS Training
If needed, and for a fee not
included in this offer, SAS Institute can come on campus for
training. A minimum of 20 participants would be needed in order for
them to set up an on-site workshop.
If you would like to have SAS installed on your computer or lab, please
submit a request
to ITTS. Be sure to specify the exact component that you
would like installed, to include the online manual. ( If you would like the entire installation, including the Online
manual, please be aware that you will need at least 2 GB of free
space on your hard drive.)
