Resources for Faculty:

SAS in Higher Education's website

Training Kits:

Free Training kits are available to all faculty wishing to teach SAS.  A complete list of all kits can be found at http://support.sas.com/training/us/heclist.html .

If you are interested in obtaining any of the kits please complete the Memorandum of Understanding. The completed Memorandum should be sent to Alfred Mays at the UNC Office of the President and Kelly Fichman at ITTS. Once you have submitted your Memorandum please email the training unit at SAS to let them know that you are eligible to receive your kit. You will be contacted by a consultant who will ask for a list of the SAS courses that you want Trainers Kits for. PLEASE NOTE: they do not send all of the courses but ask that you list the courses that you want. They will then be happy to put the materials together and send them out to you in a CD. The email address to contact SAS is:

Scholars Digital Library of Analytics

The Scholars Digital Library of Analytics is an evolving digital repository of information sponsored by SAS as part of a SAS/NC State Collaboration. This library is designed to provide quality scholarship and educational resources to a diverse audience of educators, students, researchers, academic chairs, consultants, innovators, pioneers and industry experts who employ and use statistical applications and analytics in the course of their teaching and research. In addition, this library hosts data sets, collaborative sessions, computer code, and stored procedures used in conjunction with leveraging software and solutions to invoke communication amongst the research and education community.

SAS Training

If needed, and for a fee not included in this offer, SAS Institute can come on campus for training.  A minimum of 20 participants would be needed in order for them to set up an on-site workshop.

If you would like to have SAS installed on your computer or lab, please submit a request to ITTS.  Be sure to specify  the exact component that you would like installed, to include the online manual.  ( If you would like the entire installation, including the Online manual, please be aware that you will need at least 2 GB of free space on your hard drive.)
