The Math Support Center is committed to offering superior tutorial services in Math. The Math Support Center maintains a caring, supportive, and encouraging academic presence to the university coimmunity.
We provide individual and group tutoring.
The center provides free tutoring to students enrolled in the following courses and may visit the Math Support Center at any time:
Intro to College Algebra (Math 121)
College Algebra (123)
Quantitative Reasoning (Math 126)
Precalculus Math i & II (Math 129 & 130)
Algebra & Trigonometry (Math 131)
We will post and send out a schedule of times that students can recieve help in the following courses:
Applied Calculus (Math 140)
Calculu I (Math 142)
Above Calculus I
All Statistics courses
The Math Support Center has computers and wi-fi so that students can recieve assistance with homework on Math XL.
Our tutors are dedicated to hiring and training well-qualified tutors through the National Tutoring Association.

Our tutors do not make judgements on the quality of a students work.
Our tutors do not teach.

If students attend class regularly, complete all class assignments, and complete a minimum of 10 hours with the Math Support Center they should receive an Extension Grade if their final grade is less than a "C".
If you think you might want a private tutor, please start by using our free tutoring service. You may be able to get your questions answered right in our office. If you decide you really want private tutoring, we can put the word out to people who might be available. You can then make arrangements privately with them.
