The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science offers three programs leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science and one leading to the degree of Master of Science. These degree programs are designed so that all students take the basic University College Core courses, major courses in Mathematics and Computer Science, and flexible elective choices. The department also offers minors in Mathematics and Computer Science, a Pre-Engineering Program, and courses in Statistics. These programs of study prepare graduates for careers in teaching, business, industry, and government, or for further study.
