BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Sarami is a associate professor of mathematics in the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science at Fayetteville State University. Dr. Sarami has received his Ph.D. in mathematics from Michigan Technological University, M.Sc. in Computer Science ( Data Science Track) from North Carolina State University, M.Sc. in mathematics from Sharif University of Technology, and B.Sc. in mathematics from Iran University of Science and Technology. He is certified in Advanced Computer Security (SACS) by Stanford University. He joined FSU as assistant professor in 2004. He teaches both mathematics and computer science courses. Dr. Sarami research interests are Data Sciences Analytics, machine learning. Dr. Sarami is also a musician and has played violin for over 22 years in several symphony orchestras in the USA and Iran. He is certified in Music Composition and Production for New media from Berklee College of Music. He also compose music and write songs in various styles of music in his spare time.
