Department of Management

The objectives of the department are:

1. To guide students in the mastery of the techniques, specialized skills, and managerial procedures that will enable them to function effectively as managers or entrepreneurs
2. To provide the educational background necessary for those who wish to pursue graduate studies in business-related areas
3. To increase student awareness of international, cultural, social and political issues affecting different areas of decision-making
4. To strengthen written and oral communication capabilities
5. To stimulate research activity among students through class assignments that develop analytical skills, and the knowledge required to use state-of-the-art information technology tools
6. To develop in students the awareness of the responsibilities for good citizenship, which will result in active and concerned participation in community projects and programs
