Ft. Bragg is looking for interested student candidates for part-time, temporary student employment opportunities in their Engineer's Office, Human Resources Office, and Acquisitions & Contracting Office.

  • The Engineer's Office is seeking a student employee interested in performing duties that may include: Assisting and working closely with higher graded personnel/supervisor/leader. Assisting in providing specialized project support work as it relates to the monitoring of professional engineering and construction contract services and administration of engineering information for use by professional architects, engineers, and other professionals. Focus will be on construction project management, planning, design, coordination of multiple trades, oversight of applicable policies and regulations, and command level staffing of unit submissions.
  • The Human Resources Office is seeking a student employee interested in performing duties that may include: Assisting in the preparation of civilian personnel actions, evaluations, awards, retirement ceremonies and administrative processing. Administrative, clerical and office automation operations; preparing staff actions and correspondence, helping track suspenses and/or extensions; receiving and dispatching official correspondence, mail and distribution; helping make travel arrangements to include flight and billeting, as required; typing a variety of correspondence, memoranda, messages and reports.
  • The Acquisitions & Contracting Office is seeking a student employee interested in performing in duties that may include: managing, performing, or developing policies and procedures for professional work involving the procurement of supplies, services, construction, or research and development using formal advertising or negotiation procedures; the evaluation of contract price proposals; and the administration or termination and close out of contracts. The work requires obtaining knowledge of the legislation, regulations, and methods used in contracting; and knowledge of business and industry practices, sources of supply, cost factor, and requirements characteristics.
