Admissions Requirements for MIS Program
The admission requirements for the University are the same for the School of Business & Economics except for the Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems (MIS) program. For more information on the general admissions requirements, please see the Admissions Office website.
All the university-wide admission requirements will be observed. Further, a GPA of 2.3 will be required for the declaration of the major.
Documents to be submitted for admission:
- SAT score of 1000 or ACT score of 21 or higher
- A copy of high school transcript showing a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Four course units in English, four course units in mathematics, three course units in science, two course units in social studies, and six units of electives from the areas of language, literature, mathematics, science, social studies or business.
- An above average high school class rank
- A passing score on all areas of the North Carolina Competency Examination
- A recommendation from the counselor or the principal
- A current medical certificate
