Admission for Professional Development
Applicants who have not taken the
GMAT
before full
admission into the program will be permitted to enroll in 12 hours
(maximum of six (6) credit hours at 600 level). Provided the student meets
the admission requirements at a later time, the courses completed with a
minimum grade of “B” will be used to fulfill the student’s degree
requirements. Individuals who plan to take courses for personal enrichment
or to fulfill the M.B.A. requirements may be admitted under the
“Professional Development” status. However, this does not constitute
admission to the M.B.A. program.
Prospective MBA students may be
considered for admission as either Degree Seeking or Professional
Development. For Degree Seeking status, an applicant must at least
meet the following requirement:
(200 X
undergraduate GPA) + GMAT ≥ 950 and GMAT ≥ 375
Applicants who do
not meet the above requirement, but have a minimum
undergraduate GPA of 2.5 (or 450 minimum GMAT score) are admitted
under the Professional Development status which allows them to
enroll in up to 12 credit hours of courses work (maximum 6 credit
hours at 600 level). These credit hours may be applied toward the
student’s curriculum once he/she meets the aforementioned admission
formula or:
[200 X (MBA
course work GPA)]
+ GMAT ≥ 1050 and GMAT ≥ 375
