Middle Grades Secondary and Specialized Subjects

Dr. Cynthia Thrasher Shamberger is an Assistant Professor of Special Education in the Department of Middle Grades, Secondary, and Special Subjects at Fayetteville State University.  She has experience as a special education teacher of children with mild to moderate disabilities.  She earned a Master's in Special Education in behavioral and emotional disabilities.  Her areas of expertise are collaboration among professional educators and their administrators, inclusive practices, and co-teaching.  She is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
