BIOTECHNOLOGY PROGRAM


The Department of Natural Sceinces at Fayetteville State University now offers a minor in Biotechnology to Biology and Chemistry Majors. The program has a low student-to-faculty ratio and small class sizes. The department has state-of-the art research facilities, exceptional resources and staff support. Students also enjoy support from local industries, state and federal agencies, for on and off-campus activities that include attending seminars and professional meetings. These organizations also support student research, internships, and assistantships.We offer an intense program that is designed to prepare students for careers in biotechnology.
