Ms. Kane received her BSN in 1998 from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. She then spent 5 years serving in the Army Nurse Corps. Sher received her MSN in Women's Health NP from Vanderbilt University and has been teaching in nursing for over 6 years. Her areas of focus are maternal-child health and improving interprofessional communication in healthcare. She is currently teaching Community Health Nursing in the RN-BSN program and clinical in Adult Health II in the pre-licensure BSN program.

Areas of interests include: Patient Safety, Communication, and OB/Women's Health.
