The Department of Nursing at Fayetteville State University (FSU) was established in 1992 to provide baccalaureate education to registered nurses through an RN to BSN completion program. The program holds membership in the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) and is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), a subsidiary of AACN, and and is currently on Warning Status with the North Carolina Board of Nursing, and admissions into the generic track have been suspended. The Department also holds membership in the National League for Nursing (NLN).
