Biography Dr. Peg Trueman is a registered nurse with almost twenty five years of experience in nursing education. Her areas of clinical expertise include critical care, adult health and long term care. Her educational expertise includes curriculum development, test construction and teaching strategies. Dr. Trueman earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from Queens University of Charlotte, her masters of science in nursing with a concentration in adult health/clinical nurse specialist from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a doctoral degree in Career and Technology Education from Clemson University. She is a Certified Nurse Educator through the National League of Nursing. Her areas of research interests include creative teaching strategies, motivation in learning/expectancy-value theory and leadership processes in higher education. |
