Fayetteville State University invites application for faculty positions in the areas of Med-Surg, Psych, Peds and Community Health Nursing to begin August 2007. Fayetteville State University is a constituent Institution of the University of North Carolina and the second-oldest public institution of higher learning in the state. In 1867 Fayetteville State was founded as the Howard school for the education of African- Americans, today the university serves approximately 6000 students and represents one of the nation’s most diverse campus community. The Department of Nursing serves approximately 400 students. The department seeks committed scholars and clinicians who are committed to teaching and learning. Applicants must possess a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Nursing. Preferences will be given to those who are PhD prepared with experience. Salary and Rank are negotiable and will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
