The OpTIMUM Program Requirements

Complete an On-line Application or submit a printed copy to The OpTIMUM Program office by January 21, 2011

High school or College Transcript(s) (**If previously attend college and earned less than 9 credit hours, please submit a copy of your high school and college transcripts)

Statement of Agreement (**Completed After Accepted into the program)

One Recommendation Form
-
A copy of the “Declare Major Form”; students are required to be enrolled into a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Program prior to acceptance into the program

Current FSU freshmen students is required to submit end of semester grades and mid-term grades

Selected applicants may be invited for an interview. All OpTIMUM Scholars will be informed by email on or before February 11, 2011.

OpTIMUM is now accepting applications for tutor positions.
Qualifications:
- FSU Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate students (STEM Majors Only: Biology, Chemistry, Math, Biotechnology, Forensic Science, Computer Science)
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or Higher
- Previous tutorial experience Preferred but not required
- Tutor students in the STEM Disciplines
