Student Health Insurance
- Fayetteville State University strongly encourages each student to have accident and sickness insurance protection either by their personal policy or under the FSU Student Medical Insurance Plan. A detailed policy is available at Student Health Services or online at www.studentinsurance.com.
All undergraduate students are enrolled in this insurance plan at registration. Insurance Premium will appear on the Covered Student’s tuition bill. Undergraduate students can WAIVE this plan by providing proof of comparable coverage.

If you are NOT keeping the FSU Student
Insurance go to www.studentinsurance.com
and WAIVE.
Home study, correspondence, Internet classes and television (TV) courses do not fulfill the Eligibility Requirements that the student is actively attending classes.
“If the student is not taking credit hours on campus, the student insurance cannot be purchased.”
