Transfer Students Orientation

Greetings:

We are pleased that you have selected Fayetteville State University (FSU), the second oldest public university in North Carolina, to pursue your higher education studies.  The Transfer and Advisement Center (TAC), along with faculty, staff, and administrators of FSU look forward to working with you.

The goal of TAC is to assist in making your transition to FSU as smooth as possible.  Therefore, we are enclosing a copy of the Transfer and Advisement Center Brochure, which includes transfer student guidelines.  In addition, we invite you to explore our website and other important links at www.uncfsu.edu/advisement. If you have not done so already, we encourage you to call and schedule an appointment with a Transfer Counselor to evaluate your transcript(s) or to attend one of our First Steps with the University on Saturday July 16, Friday August 5, or Saturday August 6, of 2011.  

Finally, we invite you to attend the Transfer Student Orientation Information Session on Saturday, August 13, 2011. This will be a “meet the staff” and “fill in the blanks” session designed to address your questions and concerns. If you plan to attend the August 13, 2011 Orientation Question/Answer/Information Session, please let us know which session by sending an email with your name and phone number to Ms. Vicki McKenzie at vmckenzie@uncfsu.edu or fax to (910) 672-2115.
