In 1989, American Honda Motor Company proposed a program to College Bowl for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). To that end, College Bowl created a separate program in which all 4-year degree granting HBCUs are eligible to enroll teams. This program is the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge, the premier quiz bowl for all HBCUs. This stellar program is now entering its 17th year. Over the years we have consistently played well, and our 2005 season was the best ever! In all, we have won $78,000 in grants for Fayetteville State University. We seek the best and the brightest!
