Working adults who are navigating the present economic environment are pursuing a college education in ever-increasing numbers. Adult students, age 24 and older, are loosely identified with a larger group characterized as "non-traditional." If you are a nontraditional or adult student at FSU you are not alone, over 42% of our student population is age 24 and older and 76% of all FSU students are commuters. In addition, we recognize that the goals and needs of adult students differ greatly from a traditional-aged student.
The office of Commuter & Adult Student Learner Services wants all FSU adult students to feel like they matter and that they are part of the Bronco family. Therefore, supportive services are in place to help you make the transition to and through college as smooth and as hassle-free as possible. Listed here are some programs and services that may be of special interest to the adult student population:
• Industry Certification Training
• Online Degree-Completion Programs
