To provide Fayetteville State University and the surrounding community with heightened experiences through exhibition and performance. To broaden cultural competence with learning opportunities in the arts by bringing noted artists to campus for performances, lectures, master classes, workshops, and off-campus programs.
Program Goals & Objectives
Our primary goal is to preserve arts and culture. We strive also build a greater sense of community; one that is inclusive, cohesive, and diverse.
Our objectives include:
-Actively researching and presenting programs, exhibitions, and community service initiatives.
-Preparing students for an active transition into a global arena.
-Providing innovative programming in an effort to increase student engagement and retention.
-Educating and inspiring students and the public through the presentation of artistic endeavors.
