New Science and Technology Complex - Commissioning

Closing Date: March 2, 2009

Fayetteville State University seeks fundamental commissioning services as defined by LEED and Senate bill 668 - New construction  for the construction of the New Science and Technology Complex.

The building will house various departments including Forensics, Physics, Chemistry, Math and Computer Science, and Information Technology Department (ITTS).  Major space needs identified include wet laboratories, computer laboratories, classrooms, lecture hall, seminar rooms, breakout rooms, administrative offices, computer data center, cafe' and public gathering spaces.

The building will be approximately +/-60,000 GSf.

The Total Project Budget of $19,300,000 includes design, construction, testing and others project costs.

Interested firms must Submit a minimum of five copies of Qualification and Current SF-254 to: Harold Miller, Project Manager for Planning, Design & Construction, Fayetteville State University, 1200 Murchison Road, Newbold Station, Fayetteville, NC 28301. Fayetteville State University encourages HUB participation in the selection of a commissioning firm.

Chestnut Library where the bids will be opened and read.
